Has it really been that long?

Honestly, I don't know how time flies. Blogging has become, sadly, a low priority for this busy gal. But I'm here today and have literally five minutes to jot down some highlights in the Mack's life.

Cade is now 2.5 and Brock is almost 5. Woah, let's pause to process.

The boys are so active. They love getting their hands in anything and everything and while it can be messy or annoying (to me) at times, I love seeing how their brains are developing. They ask the most interesting questions, sometimes the same question over and over and over and....you get it. But seeing them connect dots and grasp concepts is pretty cool.

Sea creatures are a BIG curiosity at the moment. Of course in addition to anything with wings or wheels. Or, things you can throw or kick. Sharks, Whales, Dolphins, Seahorses, etc. They are just so curious! We recently visited Grandma and Grandpa, who live at the beach, and a bazillion questions about sea life ensued.

Here we are at the Santa Barbara Sea Center

These kids just melt my heart (our hearts, Brian, too!). They are both in preschool, Brock in Pre-K and Cade in Safari's. They love to spend those hours together. The teachers say they play well together but also Cade, who started this fall, is forming his own circle of friends.

I love it when they call each other their best friend and hug each other. They even collaborate on activities, creating imaginative scenarios for their cars or superheroes. It's super adorable. But, let's be real. These precious moments that I every so often capture on film (gotta document those "wins") are in between clobbering each other and fits of tears. I could post those pictures but similar to my Facebook life, lets just keep this little ol' blog perfect and all things rosy.
