New digs from Grandma

Grandma came to visit a few weeks ago and spoiled Brock rotten with love, attention, hugs, kisses and new pajamas!

Thanks Grandma (Mom) for babysitting and bonding with Brock.  He loves you so much!

Random photos of the cutest baby!

Of course we are biased but c'mon, have you seen this kid?  He REALLY is cute...

Don't believe me?  I'll prove it.

Here he is hanging out in his crib with his buddies, the blue horse and Sophie the Giraffe.

Or chillin' in his brown suede cap and "Rocker" t-shirt

How about when he sports his soccer track suit during World Cup finals?

Wait, I saved the best for last.  His new funny face.  Click on the link below.  He cracks me up...

Independence Day

Each 4th of July we trek to Wilton to the Orange Rd. McCormick's residence to celebrate our country's independence.  Children playing in the pool, parents and family nearby re-connecting, and tons of food.  Yes, there is lasagna at this party, too.  Remember - any event includes lasagna.  LOVE that about the Vitale side of the family...you guys rock.

This obviously was Brock's first 4th of July.  Being a new parent and not knowing what we're doing, we weren't sure about babies and swimming pools.  So, we played it safe and didn't attempt to put Brock in the pool.  But, he did go surfing with a little help from Daddy.

Even in the 100 degree heat and with a cold and cough (yep, little man has his first of many bugs...) Brock was a champion. He was passed around between cousins, great Aunts, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents without fussing.  He loved the attention.  But at the end of the day, wiped out from all the love, he crashed out in my arms.

We are so blessed to have families on both sides that are loving and excited to have Brock in their lives.

Next year, we hope Brock will be in the pool with his cousins splashing around.  We hope everyone had a great 4th!
